Beijing part 11

I'm now on my way headed towards Xiamen after a fantastic experience in Beijing. Very soon this journey of mine is about to end and it has been so much fun.

Yesterday saw me spending the whole day in the wudaokou area packing up in my tiny room filled with many many many clothes and shoes! it was only then that i realised that i have shopped way tooooooo much and i'd be having problems bringing my stuff back! haha. p/s: i brought in 33kg of weight for baggage - i found out when i was checking in today! =x

Its horrible, but thanks to this sweet korean guy called Paul who helped me with my baggage, sent me to the airport and made sure i had no difficulty bringing my baggage with me.. it was a really sweet gesture on his side and im going to facebook him and write a big thank you note on his wall!

So that means no more shopping for me ok? well, not that i'd be shopping anymore within the next 2 days before i head back to singapore, my aim in going to Xiamen is mainly to just catch up with some of my friends which i went backpacking last year with.
Its a pity that i didnt get to see Charlie before i go.. he's been a great friend and help during my stay in Beijing.. always there for me, always making sure i'm fine.. coming down to campus grounds to find me when its gonna be a boring weekend.. looked after me when i was sick and having a high fever. anyhows, i hope his surgery is going alright. that poor child wasnt feeling too well when he left me ytd.. and now he has appendicitis (however u spell it) and has to go for surgery.. Charlie, if you're reading this, i really hope i could be there for you like how you were there for me when i fell ill - even if this means that i'd be sending u to the hospital again! and u'd have owed me something again cuz we cant be quits! haha, but im sure ure in very good hands and i hope that u recover well and soon from the surgery. you finally get to go back to school in Arizona and be your pilot geek.. no worries, however nerdy you are, theres always a bigger nerd somewhere..

And to my roommate Kristel.. if you're reading this babe, you have taught me how to be a better person. to better the inner penis in me! haha.. we both have penises for brains and im glad we stayed together in the same room. its weird how good we are for each other, how you compliment my strengths and make up for my weaknesses. dont say i got you being girly, we're both girls to begin with.. and whos the one thats more into pink eh? =) my last night with you and josh was an awesome night with the discovery of the condom machines in the road.. shadow photo taking and cam whoring till josh felt gay! haha!!! i love being with you and hanging out with you. and if i ever have such a trip out, if i ever get a chance one day to choose you as a room mate i'd do it over and over and over again! =) i love u silly!

And yes J. T (Joshua Tan), the next time you're ever ever in singapore, dont stay within the DFS cause u like it there in the singapore airport. im sure if u come out and find me, you'd love me more than the DFS! :) we're gonna go for mambo night the next time u're here u 1.8ish tall guy. dammit! ure my sweet bodyguard. have a safe flight back to Canada. and during your stop over at the Japan Airport please eat my share of sashimis for me!

Well, basically these are the few people that made my experience in china awesome. there are many many more like Philicia and Ling Na whom i'd never forget but i just needed to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone.. really.. everyone! CHEEEERS!

and so, im ready and packed up to go back to everyone who misses me and who ive missed over the 2 months that i've been experiencing china. are you guys ready for me? ;)
